Happy May 1st everyone! Can you believe that the year has flow by so fast? School has been extremely hectic lately, and I haven’t had much time for blogging with graduation, a trip to Dallas, and of course… my Europe vacay around the corner. Although my life has been chaotic lately, I have a few fashion necessities to purchase before I venture across the world. I put together an inspiration board to help myself prepare and give you all some summer must-have ideas!
How flirty and fun is this Betsey Johnson suit, perfect for the sandy beaches of St. Tropez? Or, a zesty lemon suitcase by J.Crew, great for traveling in style! And of course, you can’t forget a good pair of Chaco walking sandals to stroll the streets of Paris and visit the museums in Amsterdam. Another item that has me swooning is Esther boutique’s pastel pink dress! Are any of these items catching your eye?
So, I’ve officially decided to pass on a New Orleans trip and instead head back to Austin for some SXSW fashion panels and music madness! I will be live tweeting StyleX and posting street style fashion when I come across trendy looks. Locally owned vintage stores and stylish boutiques in the funky South Congress district and surrounding areas flourish during events like these, so make sure to bring your wallets, shop around, and indulge in our unique fashion culture.
In case you are trying to put together that perfect outfit to wear around the city, I’ve come up with two different options for a “Get The Look: SXSW” this week.
-Add a pop of neon to your look, but keep the rest simple with nude and black tones. Try sporting a printed fedora if you really want to make a statement!

TGIF! Although my personal spring break won’t be spent on the sandy beaches of Jamaica sipping on a savory spritzer with my gals, I’ve put together a few getaway items that can serve as inspiration for your packing check list. Of course, your favorite bikini and stylish shades are must-haves on any trip, but don’t forget to add a little glam to your ears with simple studs like Kate Spade’s cruise ship earrings. My favorite item of all, and most crucial, is a medium sized tote like Tory Burch features above- perfect for carrying around your necessities such as: sunscreen, oil, snacks, headphones, and much more!
If you aren’t spending the week somewhere sunny, try a bright shade on your nails, or shop for some items fit for the summer months ahead!

I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day, but now it’s time to cut back on the calories and count down until the spring break holiday…and frankly, it couldn’t come fast enough! With spring and summer fashion trends flooding department stores and boutiques everywhere, I couldn’t help but style an outfit around the beautiful Brooklyn Decker’s floral fashion look. This A-lister and top-notch trendsetter never disappoints when she is spotted out, and I absolutely adore her colorful pairing that is perfect for a summer picnic out on Town Lake or a shopping day with the gals.
Bold prints and colors are obviously popular this season, and I found some similar and affordable jackets in both a floral and tropical print- ready to add a trendy touch to your favorite LBD. Most importantly, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Sam Edelman sandals, which are always my go-to summer shoes. Doesn’t Brooklyn just look flawless?

I am starting to feature products I come across each and every day so that all of my readers can purchase these finds for themselves!
Today: Try these Kate Spade black studs when you need something simple to pair with a chunky necklace or over-the-top outfit.

We are in the midst of holiday party season, which is the perfect time to add a little shimmer to my wardrobe. Whether it’s curled around a toasty fire with a loved one or ringing in the new year with your girlfriends, sequins are the way to sparkle and shine center stage this year! Wearing a full embellished mini, glitz on a ballet flat, or pizzazz on your nails will all get the job done. Perfect for both a day or evening look, sequins can be worn alone or paired with casual pieces to make them more versatile. Make sure to get your holiday must haves this weekend… Christmas is right around the corner!
