With St. Patty’s Day and my birthday right around the corner, I’ve realized that I am one lucky clover! I am close to my hundredth post already, loving what I do, and always supported by family and friends…which i am extremely grateful for!
I just received a pair of wedges for my 22nd birthday (eek! sounds so old), and couldn’t be any more excited to wear them out. Above are a few of my other Lucky Brand favorites, great for this spring/summer transition. Maybe you can convince your parents or loving hubby to purchase you a pair of these beauties to celebrate the luck of the Irish this Saturday! And of course, don’t forget to wear something green! Have an amazing weekend everyone.
Welcome back m’dears. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and love! Most people I know won’t dare fight the crowds the day after Christmas, but I find shopping all the more appealing with chaos surrounding me. This week I am debating between velvet and sequins for my NYE clebration, so I pieced together a style board to get some feedback from my loyal readers. Velvet is a fabric with many enemies, and it needs to be worn in the right way to really pull off. Unlike most, I have recently fallen in love with the existence of velvet in the fashion world, and just this month I wore a crushed crimson piece to my sorority formal and purchased a pair of Fossil velvet shorts for the chilly December weather. A rich blue hue looks royal paired with a velvet fabric, and I promise that if you give this trend a chance you won’t be disappointed. Both comfortable and cozy, velvet is ideal this time of year. I chose a few chic winter staples above to have you looking lovely and luxe for an upcoming winter affair. So, will you give velvet a try?
