There are so many gorgeous spring colors to experiment with, and Deborah Lippmann is right on target!  I am personally drawn to her plum shade mixed with an overcoat of confetti colored glitter.  Which combo do you love most?

With Christmas and New Years Eve finally in the past, you would think that my eye for sparkle and shine would cease; however, that just isn’t the case.  I wanted to share a few of my favorite tinsel metallics that can be worn or used as decoration.  This trend is obviously popular over the holidays, but don’t shy away from using tinsel year round.  You can glam up any evening outfit by adding some glitz, or include a touch of shimmer to a centerpiece or gift for a girlfriends birthday bash.  Enjoy!

Collared shirts are all the rage this season, and ever since I purchased Kendra Scott’s Sandy necklace, I have been wearing delicious collar candy to dress up my neckline any chance I get.  A button up shirt paired with a bold statement necklace is a perfect way to dress up a simple silhouette.  If you want to add some of these beautiful baubles to your everyday attire, check out Kendra Scott and J.Crew

I am currently OBSESSING over Spool No.72.  If you haven’t checked out this clothing company already, you should ASAP!  I can’t believe this trendy little boutique flew under the radar for this long.  Founded by a mother and her two daughters, Spool No. 72 is an online fashion store straight out of eastern Washington State.  Their unique style and fabulous price point grabbed my attention immediately.  Peachy pinks and rose petal hues are flirtatious and fun on these four eye catching statement pieces.  Now I need to decide what to order for my NYE outing that will be spent with ten of my closest gals in New Orleans…what do yall think?

We are in the midst of holiday party season, which is the perfect time to add a little shimmer to my wardrobe.  Whether it’s curled around a toasty fire with a loved one or ringing in the new year with your girlfriends, sequins are the way to sparkle and shine center stage this year! Wearing a full embellished mini, glitz on a ballet flat, or  pizzazz on your nails will all get the job done. Perfect for both a day or evening look, sequins can be worn alone or paired with casual pieces to make them more versatile.  Make sure to get your holiday must haves this weekend… Christmas is right around the corner!

Here are a few NYE front runners that I am currently obsessing over.

I have recently been finding inspiration in natures most elegant creatures, like the feathers of a graceful peacock.  When I spotted this simply stunning skirt (top left), I knew that I wanted to create today’s board around a palette of green and blue hues with a subtle touch of gold glimmer and shine.  There’s something about this mix of color that is calling my name this season.  Since the holidays are a great time to sparkle, I thought, why not in sequins?  I can envision this look for a modern-romantic evening wedding or a neighborhood Christmas party at your favorite country club.  So, would you incorporate these birds of a feather into your holiday wardrobe?
