Once again, Miranda is dressed to impress and always up to date with the current fashion trends. Although this post features some pricey items, I wanted to mirror her look as close as possible. You can find these key pieces in just about any department store or boutique, and like I said last week… simple stripes can go a long way paired with complimentary prints and bursts of color!

Lately, I’m loving one of the most staple patterns in fashion, stripes! Simple, yet so trendy, this style can be combined with any hue or mixed with multiple pops of print. I typically sport the nautical look- your “go to” navy and white stripes with a touch of red…but this year I am switching out my norm for a more vivid palette full of rich colors and various stripe sizes, like Blair from Atlantic-Pacific is showing off above (top left). Which pairing would you be caught wearing this season?

Christmas really is the sweetest time of the year, and when you celebrate the season, you automatically think of the infamous treat hanging from your holiday tree…or at least I do. Today’s inspiration board comes from the clean, crisp stripes of a favorite sweet of mine, the popular candy cane. This bold trend is a must have in your closet as well. Sophisticated stripes have been around forever, whether it is decorating your home for a holiday party or adding a touch of polish to your waistline like the mid-length skirt pictured above.
I hope you all are enjoying your last two weeks before the big Christmas jubilation!
